We are proud to share that we are a partner of the Copper Forest! This initiative helps entrepreneurs take steps towards more sustainable business. Together we make an impact on climate, biodiversity and health.

What is the Copper Forest?
The Head Start Forest brings entrepreneurs together to plant forests. These forests go beyond just offsetting CO2 emissions. They contribute to biodiversity, education and a healthy environment. On the Zernike Campus in Groningen, a food forest is being planted with a classroom. This is the second forest that the Koploper Foundation is planting, following the success of the first forest in Euvelgunne in 2023.

Why do we participate?
We believe in action. Completely CO2-neutral business is challenging, but the Koploper forest offers a concrete solution. Planting a forest not only means offsetting CO2, but also contributing to broader goals such as less heat stress, better water management and a healthy workplace.

In addition, this fits perfectly with our vision: educate, inspire, connect and make sustainable impact together. Through the Koploper Forest, we are working with other leaders to create a greener future.

About the Head Start Project
The Koploper project supports SMEs and organizations that are serious about doing sustainable business. With practical tools, guidance and collaboration in teams of entrepreneurs, the project helps to take sustainable steps. Dozens of companies in Groningen have already successfully completed this program.
