Marathon in Antarctica

What drives a person to seek out the icy wilderness of Antarctica to run a marathon there? On this page, I take you on a unique journey into the unknown. I share my preparations, the stories of my trainers and the insights I gain during this intensive period. On December 13, 2024 - weather permitting - I will be at the start of one of the most extreme marathons in the world, 1000 kilometers from the magnetic South Pole and 4.5 hours flight from southern Chile.
